White Lily Couture Welcomes Spanish Bridal Label Rosa Clará
Spanish bridal label, Rosa Clará has arrived at its new home White Lily Couture in Brisbane. Rosa Clará offers the perfect balance between a timeless aesthetic and edgy design style.
LAUNCH EVENT
White Lily Couture welcomed new Spanish label Rosa Clará to Australia with a fiesta! A gathering of brides-to-be converged on the boutique for an exclusive preview of the couture collection. The evening’s event was complete with rosé bubbly, floral workshops, flamenco tunes and for the ultimate Spanish feel, a colour scheme of deep red and burgundy.
The new range features gowns with intricate beading as well lace, crepe and chiffon fabrics from on-trend deep ‘V’ gowns with voluminous sleeves to elaborate ballgowns. Highlights of the collection include the fully beaded Kassel gown, the chic and sophisticated Madona, and the ballgown of every girl’s dreams, Niher which includes a magnificent 3-metre train.
At White Lily Couture’s launch event, stylist Jenny Gaskell presented the 2019 collection alongside bespoke men’s tailor Wil Valor who showcased a mix of complementing suits, from a classic black tuxedo to a polish printed jacket with white pants.
WHITE LILY COUTURE SAYS…
“The minimalist wedding gown trend continues to reign supreme following Meghan Markle’s less-is-more approach to both of her wedding dresses earlier this year. As well as being chic, this look also has the added benefit of being easy to pair with almost any wedding theme or colour scheme. Rosa Clará’s new collection is ideal for this.”
THE GOWNS
Rosa Clará pride themselves on the high quality of their gowns and fabrics.
For this collection, the intricacy of the beading with its subtle art deco vibes has been paired with modern fitted silhouettes. Key designs from the collection include Kanda with its swirling glass beads and delicate spaghetti straps, Kassel with its geo-luxe patterning and Vega with its finely-featured bodice.
THE SPANISH INFLUENCE
Brides are taking bigger risks with their personal style for their wedding day looks and this is what White Lily Couture have captured in their Rosa Clará photoshoot. Chic up-dos were paired with bold red or gold tinged lip colours and finished with statement floral headpieces.
FLAMENCO BRIDAL STYLE
A shift towards designer gowns and high-impact looks has emerged, moving away from boho bridal trends with relaxed looks and minimal structure of both gowns and hair and makeup.
The new Rosa Clará range takes bridal design to a new level with sophisticated silhouettes and delicate details. The gowns vary from sleek and modern form fitting to ornately beaded and finely crafted laces each providing a uniquely balanced and timeless bridal style. The flamenco-feel is focused on accentuating a woman’s body in a way that is both feminine and bold.
