Spain comes to Couture - CON ILIO launches new bridal collection
The dramatic flamenco dance and the Spanish bullfighter are clearly visible in Australian couture house CON ILIO's new Spanish-inspired bridal collection. In a nod to the Mediterranean, the elaborate bridal gowns celebrate the dramatic architecture, vibrant culture and flamenco theatrics of the region.
CON ILIO Creative Director and Designer Con Iliopoulos pays homage to the Spanish culture that has influenced what he defines as the CON ILIO woman.
“I wanted to design a powerful bridal collection that draws clear parallels to the Spanish culture and that collectively feels bold, feminine and romantic, touching both traditional and innovative fashion territories.”
Designed with illustrious fabrics sourced from around the globe that meticulously come together to create a magical moment that every bride hopes for on their special day. Details French lace, Italian brocade and English tulle and embellished with pearl beading and lace applique, reminiscent of the quintessential Spanish bride.
The couture house is located in South Melbourne and is open for one-on-one appointments. visit www.conilio.com or follow instagram @ConIlio.Official
