We got invited.. White Lily Couture reopens with style
When we heard about White Lily Couture’s Grand Re-Opening Party, we can’t lie – we were intrigued! A night filled with a stunning display of incredible food, some fine tunes and even better people to celebrate the launch of this brand-spanking-new inner-city boutique in Brisbane.
With guests coming from all over Australia including media, wedding vendors and brides, the event was teeming with a buzz of personality and excitement.
Sipping on deliciously sweet Fentimans Rose Lemonade, guests were invited on the night to catch the talented creative genius, Davina of Akirah Collective as she manifested a breathtaking live floral installation before their eyes. The end result was a burgeoning beauty of pampas grass, baby’s breath, berries and figs in her signature wild and wonderful style – wedding inspo galore!
The curators of all that glitters - the team at Xennox Diamonds were ready to adorn attendees in the jewellery of their dreams (think a little Kate Hudson in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days). This touch of luxury was hosted inside White Lily Couture’s new Luxe Lounge – the boutique’s premium bridal experience space.
The evenings atmosphere was complimented with Russ Walker pumping out the tunes with just his guitar and a trusty loop pedal while Wheel & Spoon Gelato served up a flurry of their unbeatably delicious gelato in a quartet of unique flavours.
The launch could not have been a more perfect first glimpse at the new face of White Lily Couture. Guests were treated to a visual feast with the luxe interiors of this ultra modern boutique. The vast expanse of polished wooden floors, lashings of blush pink and exposed beams set our hearts aflutter. While luxurious high ceilings, comfy green velvet sofas and wall-to-wall mirrors offer all the bridal boutique feels you could ever want, but didn’t know you needed.
The boutique’s creative director explained the vision behind the store:
“The look for the boutique was designed to reflect a modern way of bridal shopping while still maintaining elegance. Our Milton boutique really took neutrals to the max so I was very excited to work with colour and contrast when designing the space! I have fallen in love with the mix of our black, minimal racks, with the luxury of the velvet furniture and gentle tone of the blush walls. It’s my hope that the moment our brides walk through our pink front doors that they feel that they have entered somewhere very special. Somewhere that says Your Dress Lives Here. ”
With over 150 gowns in the Brisbane boutique alone to choose from, it’s easy to see why they are local brides’ go-to for dream dress hunting. As we’ve discovered, their collection is one of the most diverse the city has to offer, with gowns to suit every style - from boho to luxe modern. They also boast the title of being one of the most body and budget-inclusive bridal retailers. Creative Director, Alera Kingham, believes that these two factors are so often a struggle for brides, but should not be a barrier to finding your dream dress. For this reason, the boutique stocks samples in sizes 8-22 and can order from a size 0-28! Anyone in the midst of wedding planning also knows how quickly the costs can stack up, so it was a relief to find that White Lily Couture’s dresses started at just $1500.
The future looks bright for one of Brisbane's go to bridal destination. Bookings are now open at their shiny new Red Hill boutique for beautiful brides-to-be!
